The company was established in 2005 in Manesar by a dynamic women entrepreneur, under the inspiration and guidance of Mr. Vinod Kumar Agarwal, who is the CEO of the company. With a strong industrial background rooted in Manesar's industrial ecosystem - including IMT Manesar (Integrated Model Town Manesar), which houses major automotive manufacturers: Maruti Suzuki (India's largest carmaker, producing 5-6 lakh vehicles annually, with an extensive supplier park and R&D center), Honda Motors (major plant for cars (City, Civic, etc.) and components), Hero MotoCorp (world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, producing motorcycles and scooters), Yamaha Motors (motorcycles and scooters), and over 500+ auto component and engineering units (Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 suppliers producing parts for engines, transmissions, electrical systems, interior and exterior components, and chassis), and also including pharmaceutical, food processing, plastic, and packaging units, as well as the many logistics and warehousing facilities supporting this industrial cluster, and the commercial and residential developments that have sprung up around the industrial zone (including residential townships for the workers and executives), he brings together a deep understanding of technology and extensive experience in management and business operations tailored to the needs of Manesar's diverse industrial sectors - from automotive manufacturing (paint shops, assembly lines, engine/transmission plants, body shops, and component manufacturing) to engineering to pharmaceuticals, all facing the extreme challenges of severe water scarcity (Manesar is in a semi-arid to arid region with very low rainfall, only ~500-700 mm annually, and over-extraction of groundwater leading to record low water tables and high TDS ingress), high TDS groundwater (1000-3000+ ppm, often up to 5000+ ppm in some borewells, with very high total hardness (500-1000+ ppm as CaCO3), high chlorides, sulfates, and total dissolved solids, and also containing iron, manganese, and occasionally silica), the need for high-purity water for automotive paint shops (where water quality directly impacts finish quality and requires ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, and DI water for final rinses) and for other sensitive industrial processes, stringent HSPCB norms (with ZLD being enforced for many industrial categories, including automotive and chemical, to prevent groundwater contamination), and the need to treat and recycle almost all industrial wastewater due to the acute water shortage and to meet the strict ZLD requirements.
