The company was established in 2005 in Nepal by a dynamic women entrepreneur, under the inspiration of Mr. Vinod Kumar Agarwal, who is the CEO of the company. With an industrial background rooted in Nepal's ecosystem - hydroelectric plants (Kaligandaki, Marsyangdi, Kulekhani), food processing (tea gardens in Jhapa, dairy in Kathmandu valley, spices), Hetauda Industrial District (cement, steel, pharmaceuticals), Biratnagar (jute, textile, food), Birgunj (sugar, oil, packaging), and Nepalgunj (agro-processing), he brings together a deep understanding of technology and management tailored to Nepal's challenges: highly variable water quality (clear mountain rivers to highly turbid monsoon-fed streams), high silt load (during monsoon, June-September), iron and manganese in groundwater, the need for sustainable water treatment in remote locations, and stringent environmental regulations to protect the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
