The company was established in 2005 in Mathura by a dynamic women entrepreneur, under the inspiration and guidance of Mr. Vinod Kumar Agarwal, who is the CEO of the company. With a strong industrial background rooted in Mathura's industrial ecosystem - including Mathura Refinery (IOCL - 8 million metric tonnes per annum, one of the oldest and most strategically located refineries in North India, serving the Delhi-NCR region with petroleum products like petrol, diesel, LPG, ATF, etc.), the refinery's downstream and petrochemical units (including units producing petrochemical feedstocks, solvents, and other value-added products), the industrial area along the Mathura-Agra Highway (auto components (supplying to Delhi-NCR's automotive industry), engineering (general engineering, fabrication, etc.), food processing (sweets, snacks, etc.), and packaging industries), stone and marble processing units (in the Dholpur-Mathura belt, processing local red sandstone and marble for construction and handicrafts), and the many small-scale industries supporting the local economy and the pilgrimage tourism, he brings together a deep understanding of technology and extensive experience in management and business operations tailored to the needs of Mathura's diverse industrial sectors - from refining to petrochemicals to engineering to food processing, all facing the challenges of the Yamuna River's highly polluted water (high BOD, COD, ammonia, and total dissolved solids (TDS)), hard groundwater (high TDS (500-2000+ ppm), high hardness (200-500+ ppm as CaCO3), high alkalinity, and often high iron and fluoride), water scarcity (over-extraction of groundwater for industrial and domestic use, and the need for water conservation), and stringent UPPCB norms (with ZLD being implemented for many industrial categories to reduce pollution in the Yamuna River and protect the Taj Mahal, which is located about 40 km downstream in Agra, and to meet the court-mandated directives for the protection of the Taj Mahal, which has been affected by air and water pollution from the region, especially from the Mathura Refinery's emissions and treated effluent discharges into the Yamuna).
