The chemical compound Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
is a chlorinated hydrocarbon commonly used as an industrial
solvent. It is a clear non-flammable liquid with a sweet smell.
The chemical compound Trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) is a
chlorinated hydrocarbon commonly used as an industrial solvent.
It is a clear non-flammable liquid with a sweet smell. It should
not be confused with the similar 1,1,1-trichloroethane, which is
				commonly known as chlorothene.

TCE is an effective solvent for a variety of organic
compounds. It was first widely produced in the 1920s. Trichloro
				Ethylene (TCE)
major use is to extract vegetable oils from plant materials such
as soy, coconut, and palm. Other uses in the food industry
included coffee decaffeination and the preparation of flavoring
				extracts from hops and spices.

During the post World War II period, Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
was inhalational anesthetic, thus replacing chloroform and ether
but was itself replaced by halothane later.

 Uses
We, at Innova Corporate provides Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
as raw materials for variety of products. It has its use in the
dry cleaning as a solvent. Perhaps the greatest use of Trichloro
				Ethylene (TCE) is
degreasing the metal parts of a machine. More than 80% of
				Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
is used as a solvent to remove grease from metal parts as well
as used in adhesives, paint removers, typewriter correction
fluids, and spot removers. It is also widely used in the
manufacturing of range of fluorocarbon refrigents.

 Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
is a major compound used in almost all the manufacturing
industries. We offer this valuable product at a profitable rate
through sound economic decisions. The industries requiring
trichloroethylene as a solvent are: Electroplating Industries
for cold cleaning (process used to remove grease, wax and other
impurities from metal and other parts) and vapor greasing
solvents, Integrated Iron and Steel Manufacturing Industries,
Machinery Manufacture and Repair, Pulp and Paper Manufacture for
				de-inking paper,
Rubber Manufacture, Semiconductors for oxidation of
				wafers.

AdvantagesThere are lot of advantages of Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
that it has a high boiling point (87°C) i.e. it does not burn
easily. It is especially valuable because of its cleaning
properties, low flammability and lack of measurable flash point.

				Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
is also used as chemical process intermediate in PVC production
as a molecular weight control agent. High-purity grades of
				Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
are used as feedstock in the synthesis of refrigerant hydro
fluorocarbon. In this process, Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
compound is destroyed to form new fluorinated compound.
Among the properties that have contributed to
trichloroethylene’s wide acceptance as a metal cleaner and
				degreaser are the following:

 High solvency
 Low flammability
 Non-corrosiveness
 High stability
 Low specific heat
 Low boiling point
 Low latent heat of vaporization

 Trichloro Ethylene (TCE)
is used as a solvent in some nonflammable adhesive and aerosol
formulations, and as a low temperature heat-transfer medium.

However, it should be strictly noted that Trichloro
				Ethylene (TCE) is
highly dangerous and toxic if swallowed or inhaled and can
affect heart, liver, nervous system, and kidneys. It also causes
severe skin irritation and irritation to eyes and respiratory
tract (May cause Cancer). Please refer MSDS (Material Safety
				Data Sheet) for more details.
